Some of y’all lucky leprechauns scored the winery’s Reserve Chardonnay that we featured a ways back…but for those that missed out, or those that simply can’t get enough EPIC Cali-Chardonnay (guilty!) — this one is for you! Only 935 cases made…EVER — and we pulled a rabbit to snag as much as humanly possible to share with y’all. Barely enough…even for a slow, pre-St. Paddy’s Sunday — so do yourself a solid, take the requisite 60 seconds it takes to fly to your cart, and LOAD UP!

As good as that Reserve was, and is — stylistically, this one is my jam! A bit less oak, and brighter minerality and more freshness as the result — which keeps this absolutely singing like a Lady Gaga encore. A medley of crunchy, juicy apples (Granny’s, galas, honey crisp…oh my) then this warming lemon curd character, with some grassy and fresh herbs, salty minerals, and this gorgeously exotic spice profile. Toasted walnuts and butter-seared brioche complete the package…and HOT DAMN! Sign…me…up!!!

I’m taking a couple to age, and a couple to drink with reckless and feckless abandon in the next couple of weeks — ‘cause when Mount Eden crosses your path for UNDER $20 a bottle…you simply CANNOT have too much around! A collectible California Chardonnay that brings down the house — whether you pop it today or ten years down the line, you WILL NOT REGRET IT!!!
