Dude. DUUUUUUUUDE!!! What a MYSTERY to end all mysteries! Seriously…the Rosetta Stone, who built Stonehenge, what really happened to Atlantis, D.B. Cooper’s heist, and where the heck is the other half of my favorite pair of socks – all these great and noble mysteries PALE in comparison! Plus, they’re nowhere NEAR as much fun to sip on as THIS!!! 

NAPA CAB! 99 points (twice) plus 98, and tons of fanfare across the entire winery’s impressive portfolio! These folks are the UPPER ECHELON of Napa Estates – and they’ve cracked the 100 point barrier more than a handful of times. We are simply STOKED to get access to a rare LIBRARY vintage like this – and one of my favorite Napa vintages of all time…the elegant, stylish, and supremely balanced 2014!!! 

When one of the top wine critics in history marks this top-notch producer as being in the top qualitative hierarchy among all other Napa Valley producers, you just KNOW you’re in for something SPECIAL!!! (Yes, I paraphrased the above so you super-sleuths don’t just pop the quote into Google and let AI spoil the fun!)

Is this the BEST Napa Cabernet I’ve tasted so far this year? Undeniably yes. And maybe in the last couple years, if I think hard on it. But thinking hard is no task for a Tuesday – especially when the deal is as STELLAR as this!!! OVER $340 OFF the sticker price, and by FAR and AWAY (Tom Cruise/Nicole Kidman classic BTW) the best price you will see across the endless expanse of the interwebs! 

Amarena cherries, crushed raspberries, blueberry compote, lilacs, molten dark chocolate, slate and graphite, creme de cassis, toasted anise seed, with black peppercorn, plum jam, and a lingering punch of inky, backstrap molasses. It’s massive, yet elegant, and long enough to measure a marathon. The intensity and polish linger for well over a minute, completely filling the mouth and refusing to let go of the very tip of your tongue with its gentle, yet enduring pull. In a word? WOWZA!! 

Ok, if you NEED to guess – here’s a few hints – but do hurry, friends – there’s simply no telling how long this might last! 

- A visit to Bordeaux in the late 90s inspired this European immigrant to start his own estate, a partnership he undertook with his son.

- The entire valley floor estate was replanted in the early 2000s, with a winery following soon after. 

- This 2014 vintage was made by a French-born winemaker, who grew up in Bordeaux with a 1st Growth estate as his playground.

- Most people who know this wine and winery continue to pronounce it incorrectly.
