Broccardo Barolo Ravera 2021

Broccardo Barolo Ravera 2021

Yes!!! Full stop. A TOP Barolo Cru — that Decanter calls “the most renowned vineyard in the municipality of Novello” and we have this explosive, and stunningly elegant 96 POINT bottling to share!!! This is a certified steal even at the full retail price of $75…but today…for those with the fastest finger-twitch muscles…just TWO Andrew Jacksons make this yours!!!

100% Nebbiolo, of course, from iron rich pockets in the Ravera cru which give it a beautiful minerality and sapidity. This region is among the tiniest in Barolo, with only about 17 named Ravera Cru wines released each year! This might be the best Ravera I’ve tried to date — irregardless of the price! But that KILLER price just makes this all the more tempting...in fact!!!

96, 95, 94 POINTS — at the sort of price point you can almost NEVER find on delectable, single site Barolo — particularly from a “LANDMARK YEAR” like 2021! I’m gonna give you my notes, of course — but you might want to pull a Fonzarelli and jump the shark to your cart…’cause we’ve only really got enough for a half-offer of this seductive maiden. 2021 stands as the HIGHEST SCORING PIEMONTE VINTAGE EVER according to Wine Spectator…99 points and just about perfect…and this lives up to all the expectations and then some. The violets, the lilacs, with crimson roses, and the sort of evocative, transformative perfume that makes you fall head over heels in love! Then, one sip in, and the power and structure breaks through like a Welsh rugby try from Rhys Carré himself! (I mean, just look at that big man, go!) Red cherries, and crushed raspberries, with flecks of iron, and minty menthol coolness, with the sort of steady intensity usually found in the best deep-tissue massage you’ve ever experienced! (Hurts so good!) Ah man, this is flat-out MARVELOUS stuff!

Take a bow, BROCCARDO! A Last Bottle Barolo favorite — and you’re gonna absolutely BACKFLIP for this stunning bottling of their single Cru beauty from Ravera! This sacred ground is composed of some of the highest plots in Barolo, protected from the worst of the weather inbound from the Italian Alps, and the conditions in this vintage has produced something that borders on magical.

I got my case — I sure hope you move like a stim-addled fox and make your own claim before it’s gone for good! While it lasts, my Barolo brethren!!!
